The installation guide is straightforward. Cut off the original electrical plug and wire up this GFCI plug. Place the Hotwire under the Brass-colored screw, the Ground wire under the green-colored screw, and install the strain-relief clamp over the outer cable exterior to prevent pulling force from pulling the wires out. Tighten the four screws to install and fix the GFCI plug. Test it and make sure the red indicator light is ON before using.
