ELEGRP leads innovation in electrical safety, manufacturing leakage circuit interrupter devices, water pumps, wire & cable, wiring devices, and smart home appliances. Our extensive IP portfolio includes 400+ patents, with 50+ inventions. All our products undergo rigorous testing and hold global CE, UL, VDE and 3C safety certifications. We'll continue innovating in electrical safety and smart home appliances to meet evolving consumer demands.
Our patented GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) plug, the newer model of our original G1215PM2, automatically conducts a self-test (auto-monitor) every 5 seconds. This exceeds the UL standard of 3-hour self-test frequency, ensuring the GFCI is continually working to protect people from electrocution.
When the leakage current in the circuit or load equipment, or the ground-neutral fault, reaches 4mA~6mA, this GFCI plug can break the circuit automatically within 0.025 seconds (25ms). Designed to withstand 20kV, 10kA voltage surge, it far exceeds the UL943 requirement of 6kV, 10kA. The GFCI plug can operate normally in temperatures from -31°F to 150.8°F (-35°C to 66°C).
With surge protection and lightning protection functions withstanding 6 kilovolts, the GFCI features long service life. It has undergone 6000+ factory tests, twice the UL standard, and is UL listed for exceeding safety requirements.
When choosing a portable GFCI plug from ELEGRP, consider if your power device has a 2-prong 2-wire or 3-prong 3-wire plug. Automatic reset models restore power automatically after an initial plug-in or power interruption, suitable for applications like pressure washers, pool pumps, and vending machines. Manual reset models require the user to press the reset button, recommended for dangerous power tools or lawn equipment.
GFCI plugs integrate the plug and GFCI, while in-line GFCIs have a separate plug, working better with waterproof boxes for outdoor use.
To test the GFCI plug, remove it from the electrical device, plug it into a regular outlet, and check if the green indicator light is on. Press the TEST button to ensure the light turns off, then press RESET to verify the light turns back on. If the GFCI keeps tripping, there may be an electric leakage risk, and you should contact a professional electrician.
ELEGRP offers various GFCI plug options, including auto-reset grounding, non-grounding manual reset, GFCI adapters, and GFCI extension cords. All feature the patented auto-monitor function and have received high customer ratings.
