The temporary power cords provided by Southwire allow users to safely connect power for larger tools and equipment or X-TREME BOX™ temporary power distribution units.

The 6/4 50 AMP Twist-Lock Y-Adapter (1 Male to 2 Female) is designed to enable users to "string" more temporary power boxes together, utilizing the 50 amp outlet of the box. The male end plugs into the outlet of a temporary power distribution box, while the two female ends feed 50 amp power supply cords to two more boxes.

The ends of the adapter are constructed with an impact and chemical resistant nylon. The male connector features a stainless steel plug shroud with a rigid vinyl protective shell, while the female receptacle contains a heavy-duty brass grounding strap to provide a low-resistance ground path and resistance to corrosion.
